Finished the first week of the semester. Good news is I will once again be posting new games!!! for once. Still will be working on my modeling portfolio. My goals this semester is to get most of my video portfolio done and start working on a good independent game, I’ve already got a few volunteers to help with the game and with Unity(my new game engine and programing software.) Also want to make a couple Unreal 3 levels if I have time.

Also have an old blog back online for a new class http://myherosquest.com/game_design, just got to put in a anti-spam software on the blog, which I’m working on now.

Oops, I mean so much time, not a lot to do. I finished up the season with my job and right now just learning Zbrush. I’m playing every game I can get my hands on because I know in the next year I won’t have much time for playing games.

Also been planning my next projects, so many to choose from and don’t know what I want to see to completion. Problem is when I start the new semester I may have to abandon any project to work on something else.

New technology is great, been playing a lot of games on OnLive, to bad many people don’t put much faith in it, I love it, but it has it downsides sometimes.

Basically is is broadcasting(streaming) games into your computer(eventually television) that you can play and get pretty good quality on my netbook.

Also been testing out Justin.tv streaming my gameplay, had 58 viewers for my World of Warcraft raid tonight, that was exciting, even though my internet upload speed is not good enough to have a quality broadcast, working on changing some of the settings for that.

The future is going to be a miraculous place for gaming.

Sorry, haven’t really updated in the last couple days and I won’t be updating much in the next month, I’ll try to post copies of my finals. I have those, plus my new job at iD Tech Camps will keep me busy. Can’t wait to train the next generation of Game Designers and Artists.

Pretty Much finished modeling, and moved on to texturing. Started modeling what I call the “boat”house for one final project this semester and planning out the run down city for my Warcraft final. I got the Starcraft 2 editor and I going to try to talk my instructor into letting me do the final in that editor.

I know I was going to post my tower defense, but it still not ready, have a bug that lets anyone build for free, which isn’t suppose to be happening, got to go back and look at the triggers again. Anyways, I do have another map I’m posting:

This is the fourth map in the campaign, basically the Humans have gotten the piece of the D.O.N.U.T.(Dangerous Object of Nefarious and Unstable Turmoil) and are headed to the mountain to destroy it, but encounter heavy resistance blocking the path to the mountain.
